Kreepin' In the Kitchen

The yummiest Garlic Cheesy Bread

Disclaimer: This recipe is not healthy but it is so dang good that sometimes you have to be bad every once in a while. And what's better to cheat a little on your diet than some good ol' Garlic Cheesy Bread?!

1. If you like to make your own dough or you are like me and are happy with Rhodes frozen rolls, then set out six 1 oz. rolls. Place them on a baking sheet with a towel over them. I have found that making the towel moist with water helps the rolls stay soft and moist. Let them rise for one or two hours or until they have only just doubled in size. You do not want them to rise completely.

2. While they are rising or almost done to doubling in size, you can mix together your ingredients: melted butter, crushed garlic, creamy Italian dressing, parsley, and onion powder. Mix really well.

3. When your rolls have doubled in size, cut them in half. Take each of the halves one by one and place them in your mixture. Make sure each piece is completely covered before you add the next piece. You will leave them all of them in the mixture for a while so don't take them out after you have dipped them. Also, if you do not completely cover each piece of dough with the mixture then the dough will all stick together and then you will just have one huge lump of a mess! (totally not saying that from a previous experience ;) haha)

4. Next, place your dough strips in your baking pan and cover for another hour and a half. Your dough still has some rising to do before you can bake them.

5. Notice how there are gaps between the dough pieces. After an hour and a half of letting them rise and preheating my oven to 350 degrees your pan should look like this. I also added my assorted cheese at this time just right on top.

6. After you covered with cheese, pop them into the oven for 15-20 minutes until the tops are nice and brown and be ready for melt in your mouth cheese bread!
